Our Kerrighed technology
Our technology Kerrighed aims to turn a set of computers into a single machine, which offers functionalities that had been before the prerogative of the large calculators and Mainframes .
This is possible thanks to mechanisms allowing a total “virtualization” of the computer’s resources. That is to say a complete aggregation of the CPUs resources, memories, inputs/outputs… so that the users see only one and single machine.
Thus for a platform made up of 4 computers, having each one 16 Go of memory, your application has with Kerrighed not of a collection of 4 batches of 16 Go but well of 64 Go on line memory for its operation!
Kerrighed is a single image operating system which diversifies the functionalities and the interface of Linux at the computer’s groups level. Using and managing a cluster equipped with Kerrighed is as simple as using a desktop under Linux.
